Dundas Catch the Ace Week 19 winner David Kam received a cheque for $2,076 moments before the winner of the Week 20 prize of $3,006 was drawn.

The holiday season didn’t slow the Dundas Catch the Ace fundraiser, with its highest weekly prize yet awarded in the week 20 draw on Wednesday, Dec. 27, and the growing jackpot still in play for at least another week.

Hosted by Royal Canadian Legion’s Valley City branch, the fundraiser’s progressive jackpot surpassed last week’s projection by $2,000 as ticket sales continued to grow between Dec. 20 and 27 — despite contending with Christmas.
